Culinary Arts                                           Post-Secondary Opportunities in Culinary Arts at: Erwin Technical Center Capital Culinary Institute Orlando Culinary Academy Johnson & Wales University Family, Career & Community Leaders of America, Inc. (FCCLA) FCCLA is a national vocational student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences Education in school through grade 12. Program Description This Prostart curriculum-based program prepares students for initial employment in the food service industry. Students learn to operate a catering business and restaurant as part of the training program. Florida’s Prostart School-to-Career Program is the food service industry’s answer to the impending labor shortage. To keep pace with the tremendous growth in Florida's economy, the Florida Restaurant Association Education Foundation has partnered with high schools across the state to educate and train students for careers in the food service industry.
