Program Description:
This program prepares students for employment as nursing assistants and/or nurse aides in nursing homes, hospitals,
or other health care facilities. Students who satisfactorily complete this program are eligible to take the National Nursing
Assistance Examination in Florida.
Student Skill Areas: The Nursing program includes performanceskills such as making sure that all the equipment they use is clean and sanitary. Always wearing the proper clothing like gloves, masks, and shoes. Knowing how to administer CPR and other life saving procedures. |

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
requires that you—
Have no felony convictions and have passed a TB test and physical exam within the past year in order to be employed as a CNA.
